Please congratulate the SNMS STEM Teams.
Friday April 12th, SNMS teams competed in this all day Tri-County Competition that included Nash, Edgecomb, Wilson, Charter Schools and Private Schools. There were numerous aspects of this competition; building 5 structures based on the book Restart by Gordon Korman from blueprints the students created, a quiz on the book, a surprise STEM build, writing, directing, and starring in a video on anti-bullying, calculating the cost of the builds, and an interview.
Team 1, Mason Edwards, Connor Perez, Kyle Smart, Jacob Stokel, and Griffin Stroh-Cock, placed 4th overall.
Team 2, Piper Davis, Brylee Godfrey and Alexandra Hernandez, placed 14th.
They all did an amazing job!
