Good afternoon Cobra Families! Based on the message from our district office, Southern Nash Middle will operate on remote learning days on Wednesday, February 19th and 20th. This remote learning setting is different from the one in January. We will have a synchronous schedule for students to meet with their teachers. The schedule has been emailed to the students and is posted on canvas. Each teacher will have their class link in their CANVAS or Rooms course. Please continue to be safe and communicate with your child’s teachers. Have a great evening! Sonya Horton

Due to this week's weather conditions, there are changes to the tryout schedule. Only baseball and cross-country will have tryouts this week, and athletes should bring both indoor and outdoor gear, as tryouts may be held indoors due to the high chance of rain. Baseball tryouts are scheduled for February 12-14 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, with players dropping off their bags in the snakepit in the morning and reporting to the locker room at dismissal. Cross-country tryouts will also take place from February 12-14, from 3:30 to 5:00 PM, with athletes reporting to the auxiliary gym. Softball tryouts have been postponed to February 19-21, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, with players reporting to room 603. Girls' soccer tryouts will also be held from February 19-21, from 3:30 to 5:15 PM, with athletes reporting to room 206 at dismissal. All tryouts are closed to spectators, and parents must remain in their cars.
