
Good Evening Bear Family -
We have a short week this week, due to the end of the 3rd grading period ending. Wednesday is an Early Release Day - Students get out of school at 1 pm. Thursday and Friday are Teacher Workdays. Please note that the Basketball Team has practice on Monday and Tuesday of this week. The Retro Remix Talent Show Rehearsal will take place on Tuesday. Also on Tuesday, our Kindergarten and 3rd Graders have Field Trips. Saturday, our Basketball Team plays at 11:15 at Nashville Elementary. We have 2 upcoming fundraisers - Retro Remix Talent Show on April 3rd and our Sneaker Ball on April 11. Flyers are below for costs and times.

Our Brick City Teams did a great job today at their competition. We are so proud of their hard work.



Congratulations to our Assistant Principal, Mr. Bridges, for being the Elementary AP of the Year for NCPS!


Our Retro Remix Talent Show is coming up on April 3, 2025. Here is the flyer. All proceeds go towards our Art Program. Please join us for a wonderful evening of our talents here at Englewood.


Our 5th graders will be hosting a Sneaker Ball on April 11, 2025 for all students, to raise money for their 5th grade field trip. K-2 students come from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm with a parent. 3-5 students come from 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Parents for 3-5 students will not be admitted to the dance. The cost is $10.00 to attend, this includes pizza and a drink. Additional concessions will be available for purchase during the dance.


Good morning! We were just informed that Bus 366 will not be running this morning. Students who ride Bus 366 must be dropped off at school this morning. If your child rides Bus 366 please arrange to drop them off at school. As for now, Bus 366 will run this afternoon. We will alert you if this changes. Thank you!

Thank you for all that participated last week for Read Across America Week. It was a great week. This week, on Tuesday, our 5th Graders have their Growing Up Classes - All students must have a completed form by tomorrow, in order to participate. Wednesday, we have Basketball Practice. On Thursday, We have our Retro Remix Rehearsal on Thursday from 3:30 - 5 pm, as well as Cheerleading and Basketball Practice. Friday, our students in Brick City will have their competition. Saturday, we have our Basketball Team playing at Nashville Elementary at 9:45 am.

Our dismissal has been delayed by our Central Office. If you wish to check out your child, you must come to the car line to do so. You have to come to the back door to sign out your child on paper. We cannot dismiss students our normal way, at this time. Buses will run ASAP from CO directives.

4th and 5th Grade Parents, you will be receiving a letter regarding our Growing Up Classes. You must return the letter for your students to participate.
