Southern Nash Middle School is proud to welcome Dr. Allen M. Wilson as the school's new principal for the 2026–2027 school year.

Dr. Wilson brings more than 12 years of experience in education, having served as a middle school teacher, middle school administrator, and most recently as an elementary school principal. Throughout his career, he has been committed to fostering positive school cultures, building meaningful relationships, and ensuring high levels of learning for all students.

For Dr. Wilson, joining Southern Nash Middle School is especially meaningful. As both a former student and former teacher at SNMS, returning to lead the school is a true full-circle moment.

"It is an incredible honor to return home and serve as the principal of a school and community that have played such an important role in my life," said Dr. Wilson. "I am excited to work alongside our students, staff, families, and community as we continue building upon the strong tradition of excellence that exists at Southern Nash Middle School."

As the school prepares for the upcoming year, Dr. Wilson's leadership will be centered around the Power of One, inspired by the Southern Nash Middle School motto: "One Team, One Goal, No Limits."

Throughout the 2026–2027 school year, students and staff will focus on working together as one unified team, aligned around one shared goal, while embracing the belief that there are no limits to what can be achieved. The "Power of One" will emphasize the core values of Ownership, Never Quit, and Excellence, providing a framework for academic success, personal growth, and a positive school culture.

Dr. Wilson looks forward to meeting students and families and partnering with the Southern Nash Middle School community to make the 2026–2027 school year one of growth, achievement, and opportunity.
